TailoftheDragonResorts.com is published as a tool for Two-Lane Backroad enthusiasts to find the best accommodations available that suits their needs. We have compiled listings for hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts, cabins, houses, apartments and campgrounds. These listings are divided into certain areas of interest in western North Carolina, eastern Tennessee and northern Georgia. In many cases we have visited the accommodations and only accept listings that would meet our high standards. Over the years we have removed a few that we have received complaints about.
     These listings have a wide range of costs and amenities from secluded mountaintop resorts at $300 plus a night to camp sites at $10 a night. All of these are motorcycle/sports car friendly.
     One thing that we advise people to be aware of is the access to these accommodations. It is fairly common to see gravel and steep drives to some of these, so be sure to ask if that is important to you. You may also want to inquire about trailer parking if necessary.
     We are also listing businesses that provide certain services such as motorcycle gear or repairs. We do list a few places to eat and detail their specialties.
